1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, services, and activities provided by Seaweed Crew, operated by The Seaweed House Limited ("Company", "we", "our", or "us").
By booking or participating in any sea excursion, boat trip, or marine activity organized by Seaweed Crew, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not participate in our activities.

3. Booking & payment
3.1 Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when:
- Full payment or required deposit has been received; and
- Written confirmation has been issued by Seaweed Crew.
3.2 Payment terms
- Prices are quoted in EURO.
- Payments may be made via approved payment methods.
- Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation.
4. Cancellations & refund policy
4.1 Client cancellation
- Cancellation more than 5 days before excursion: 100% refund.
- Cancellation less than 5 days before excursion: Non-refundable.
- No-shows are strictly non-refundable.
4.2 Weather conditions
Your safety is our priority. Seaweed Crew reserves the right to:
- Cancel or reschedule excursions due to unsafe weather or sea conditions.
- Modify routes or duration for safety reasons.
In such cases, clients will be offered:
- A rescheduled date; or
- A refund (excluding non-recoverable third-party costs if applicable).
Weather-related decisions are at the sole discretion of the captain.
5. Assumption of risk
By participating in any Seaweed Crew excursion, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Marine activities involve inherent risks.
- Sea conditions may change unexpectedly.
- There is a risk of injury, illness, property damage, or loss.
You voluntarily assume full responsibility for these risks.
6. Health & medical conditions
Participants must:
- Inform us of any medical condition that may affect participation.
- Confirm they are physically fit for marine activities.
We strongly advise:
- Pregnant women
- Individuals with heart conditions
- Individuals with serious medical issues
to consult a doctor before participating. Seaweed Crew reserves the right to refuse participation for safety reasons.
7. Safety compliance
All passengers must:
- Follow instructions from the captain and crew at all times.
- Wear life jackets when instructed.
- Respect marine safety rules.
Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the excursion without refund.
8. Alcohol & conduct
Seaweed Crew promotes responsible enjoyment. We reserve the right to:
- Refuse alcohol consumption onboard.
- Deny boarding to intoxicated individuals.
- Remove any person engaging in unsafe, aggressive, or illegal behavior.
No refund will be issued in such cases.
9. Personal belongings
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.
Seaweed Crew shall not be liable for:
- Lost or damaged personal items
- Water damage to electronic devices
- Theft or misplacement
10. Liability limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by Mauritian law:
The Seaweed House Limited shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury unless caused by proven gross negligence
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of enjoyment
- Missed transportation connections
Our liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the excursion.
11. Insurance
Seaweed Crew maintains required marine operator insurance in accordance with Mauritian regulations. However, we recommend that participants obtain personal travel insurance covering:
- Marine activities
- Medical emergencies
- Personal property
12. Media & photography
By participating in our excursions, you grant Seaweed Crew permission to:
- Take photographs and videos
- Use such content for promotional purposes
If you do not wish to appear in media, you must notify us in writing before departure.
13. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:
- Extreme weather
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Port authority decisions
- Mechanical breakdowns beyond reasonable control
14. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
15. Amendments
Seaweed Crew reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
